Migration error on server 18, 21, 22 and 34
Incident Report for Microbizz
Postmortem

If you are using Microbizz on one of the following servers:

system18.microbizz.dk

system21.microbizz.dk

system22.microbizz.dk

system34.microbizz.dk

you could have experienced one of the following problems:

  • A large number of nameless (and inactive) users suddenly appeared in your user list with emails belonging to other users.
  • A small number of users suddenly had their email exchanged to the email of another user, preventing them from logging into Microbizz or using the app.

This is unfortunately the effect of a migration error in the latest update.

Our technical personnel have inspected each solution where this have occurred and have now corrected the erroneous data and deleted the excess data. If you still think something is wrong, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

During our data examination we have encountered contracts where the same password is used by a large number of users. Please note that this is a security risk as users can access other accounts if they just use their own password with another users email - each user should have a unique password.
